VAT refund: Foreign tourists can access a 12% VAT refund for accommodation services in affiliated establishments.

Asset Entry Control: In compliance with the Organic Law for the Prevention, Detection and Eradication of the Crime of Money Laundering and Financing of Crimes, any passenger who enters or leaves the country with cash equal to or greater than $10,000 USD or its equivalent in other currencies must declare it to the corresponding authorities.

Vaccinations: Yellow fever vaccine is recommended.
